About us

Bringing back the doctor–patient relationship with consistency, clarity, and collaboration.

Our story

For decades, medical care has trended toward high-volume systems where patients often feel like numbers in a spreadsheet. We witnessed the erosion of the most critical part of health: the relationship between a doctor and their patient.

Our clinic was founded as a departure from that model. After years in large-scale corporate medicine, we grew frustrated with the revolving door rushed visits, overburdened schedules, and care that felt transactional instead of personal.

We believe there is a better way: medicine that returns to its heart personal care, deeply understood, and consistently delivered. That is what we are building every day in Kennesaw.

Our mission & approach

To provide personalized, relationship-based care that honors the unique journey of every patient through clinical excellence and unwavering empathy.

Consistent

Explain your history once. Your care team stays aligned so context is not lost between visits or handoffs.

Clear

Plans, labs, and next steps in plain language so you always know where you stand and what comes next.

Collaborative

We merge evidence-based medicine with your real life goals, preferences, and practical constraints included.

Meet the team

Shishir "Sunny" Gupta, MD

Primary care

Focused on prevention, heart health, and chronic disease with a practical eye toward minimizing medications when it is safe to do so.

Full bio

I grew up in Valdosta, GA, where close-knit communities shaped my approach to care. I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia, where I became a lifelong Bulldogs fan, and later went on to pursue medical training at Mercer University School of Medicine in Savannah.

I take a practical approach to primary care focused on preventing illness, protecting heart health, and managing chronic conditions in a way that aims to minimize medications whenever safely possible. I also support mental health alongside physical health to help patients reach their goals. In addition, I have a focused approach to treating obesity and its related conditions.

I believe healthcare works best when it is consistent, clear, and collaborative. I manage as much of your care as appropriate to reduce unnecessary referrals and keep things simple and convenient for you. When specialized care is needed, I stay actively involved to ensure everything remains coordinated and aligned with your goals.

Outside of medicine, I enjoy staying active, traveling, and flying I hold a private pilot certificate and spend time in the air whenever I can!

Rickey Patel, MD

Primary care

Preventive, acute, and long-term care that stays straightforward and tailored evidence-based medicine that respects your day-to-day reality.

Full bio

I was raised in Valdosta, Georgia, where a strong sense of community first shaped my interest in medicine and service. I studied at the University of Georgia before earning my medical degree from the American University of Antigua, then returned to Georgia to complete residency training in Macon and Moultrie. Today, I practice in Atlanta, where I care for individuals and families across a wide range of health needs.

My work in primary care spans preventive health, acute issues, and long-term condition management. I focus on delivering care that is straightforward, thoughtful, and tailored to the individual drawing on evidence-based medicine while staying attentive to each patient's priorities and day-to-day realities.

I approach medicine with the belief that good care should feel organized and accessible. Whenever possible, I address concerns directly within the practice and help patients avoid unnecessary complexity.

Outside the office, I spend most of my time with family and remain closely connected to the community I serve in Atlanta.
